School can be so hard and stressful, but then I get a 92% on my Latin quiz , and I'm like:

It's okay to have embarrassing moments; because in three years, no one but you will remember it happened. :)

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

One of the most depressing things is to sit around a group of people and suddenly realize no one is talking to you. And no this is not a pity party; it's just the truth. Really, it's my fault that I'm sitting there alone. I should be more outgoing. More sociable. I'm not really good at talking. Sure, I can make small talk: "how's school?" or "what instrument do you play?" or "what's your favorite movie?" Pretty much empty words that have no meaning. I do care what your answer is, but I can't always talk like this; I'll run out of questions to ask. Or opinions to throw out. And do you even care about what I have to say? It's hard, because some people are closed off. I've tried to be more personal with people (generally other girls) and they act kind of weird about it. But what else am I supposed to say? It's kind of like writer's block: writers have a difficult time trying to figure out what to write. Well, I have a difficult time trying to figure out what to say.
So what should I do about this problem? Should I be prepared all the time? Should I have a list of topics? But what if the person I'm talking to doesn't even care about those topics...or know anything about them? What am I supposed to do then? Or should I just not even try to socialize at all? I can't do that. Or maybe I should just stick to my small talk...yes. That's probably the best, right? Not really.
It's hard to see people laughing and being so casual with other people. It's so easy for them to talk. To respond. There are no awkward moments; and when there are awkward moments...they're not even really awkward. Why can't I be like that?
It's hard to not be mad about this. Frustrated at why I can't just be....not awkward!!!!!!

I have no solution for you (or me:). Maybe you don't even have this problem. Maybe I just over think everything.
All I know is trusting in God is a good plan. Plain and simple.

Time

Isn't time weird. One second you think, 'oh, I have tons of time.' And then....BAM!!!! It's gone.
Dude. Seriously?
I thought, 'oooh, school will never start'...that was about two months ago. And now I'm here, well, I'm now...I guess, and school is going to start in about a month.
Dude. Seriously? (my mom will probably read this and think, "dude, seriously?" :P)

I need to stop saying (or typing) "dude, seriously."

Anyway, here are some photos-

All of these photos-except for the second one-were edited.
Good night,
Bethany. :)

Some photos

Hi,

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I've been lazy lately...well, too lazy to blog. :)

These are just some of my photos.

Here's to Burger King's breakfast, because without it, we wouldn't know when Breakfast ends,

P.s. I took the list off, it was kind of sad. :) :P

Cupcakes

Today my mom and I made Oreo cupcakes.
It was fun.

The frosting is made from Heavy wipping cream, powdered sugar, vanilla and crushed oreos. Yum.
And the cupcakes were homemade.

Happy cupcakes,
Bethany :)

Salvete

Hey guys,

Nice to talk to you again. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a long time. I've been lazy lately-more than usual, that is.
I also haven't really had anything to post about...

It's been rainy and humid lately. It's started to feel like Summer...finally. I can't wait for summer. I'm really close to being done with school.

That's all for now,

Bethany.

P.s. I'll post some photos soon.

This is a great country. You know what makes it great? You don't have to be witty or clever, as long as you can hire someone who is.                            -Ted Baxter

When I take a photo

When I take a photo, I think natural light. Because, it’s beautiful.
Why? Think about it.
It makes it look better. If you take a photo at night and inside, it won’t look that good.

Rule of life #4. Natural light is always the best

---------------
When I take a photo, I think a little mystery. With the beautiful natural light, then a little darkness and not showing all of what's going on in the photo. I'm not an expert, but you know it looks cool. :)
It makes your viewer wonder what it is.

Rule of life #5. Mystery is awesome

---------------
When I take a photo, I think life.
Like a person. Maybe a tree. Maybe animals...like birds...or my puppy dog.

Rule of life #6. Life will make people smile. It will make you smile.

Rule of life #7. Riley is cute (yes, that is a rule:)

---------------

After I take a photo, I think Cross Process.
They way I edit it. I try it, and some times it looks good, some times it doesn't.

Rule of life #8. When you edit a photo, always try cross process. (photobucket is a great place to edit. So is picnik).
In photobucket, go to edit, then to retro, then one of the options should be cross process.

Before cross process

After cross process
That one was pretty good.

See ya later,
Bethany :)
